Capital Therapy Dogs Incorporated (CTD) registers handlers and their dogs as therapy dog teams to engage in animal-assisted activities at our programs in the Greater Sacramento, California area. CTD teams offer the comfort of loving dogs to people of all ages. We support programs at hospitals and assisted living, memory care and rehab centers. Our Read to a Dog programs help young readers at schools and libraries. CTD stress relief programs bring much-welcomed joy to students and individuals who may need some happy distraction from stressful situations. Our members are appreciated and are supportive, respectful and kind to everyone. Members without dogs are appreciated too, and help operate the organization and assist handler/dog teams.
