South Sacramento Cooling Center Volunteers
Sacramento Capitol Seventh-day Adventist Church is activating its location as a cooling center as a respite from extreme heat for all residents, including unsheltered guests. No pets are permitted.
Responsibilities of Volunteers include some of the following:
- May work at front entrance indoor greeting and registering guests
- May work at beverage table greeting and dispensing snacks & cool water to guests
- May work as hall monitor greeting and overall assist where needed
- May work sanitizing areas
- If able may set up a few tables and chairs for guests to sit social distanced

Masking is required at all shelters and cooling centers until further notice. A mask will be provided for volunteers or guests who did not bring their own.
